Three of the Gospels capture the story of Jesus and the “Rich Young Ruler,” a man of power and wealth that asks Jesus what is necessary for eternal life. Jesus gives him an answer that saddens the man because we are told that the man enjoyed his wealth. Eileen Cramer shows us though, that the Rich Young Ruler’s problem wasn’t only about his money.
